Hi Ian,

Do you see the same on the demo site?

bambootheme.com/showcase/sep13/

I've also installed the quickstart to

riversideconsultancy.co.uk/portal/

Cheers

Hi Paul - thanks for taking the time to look into this.

The demo and riverside work perfectly, and I can see that my site appears on a mobile phone exactly as the the demo, so no problem there.

I've tested it on an Android tablet, and that is fine too.

So it's really only the home page loading in Safari on a desktop which is causing a problem.

Looking at the demo I remember that I have removed the very top menu and the panel link on roberttearle.com. I've probably made other tweaks to the css which is causing this, but I did it so long ago I can't remember what...

Thanks

Hi Ian,

In the browser using developer tools only have you tried removing the custom.css file?

Have you made changes to any other css file?

Hi Paul

I switched off custom.css but it didn't seem to make a great deal of difference.

I do have the following on line 182:

#topwrap .zen-container
{padding:10px 0 30px;}

If I turn this off, I get the same sort of effect. Could it be something in here clashing with something else?

I'm off to Blighty for a few days later, so I will have to come back to this.

Many thanks for all your help so far...

Ian

Hi Ian,

Maybe comment that style out and see how it looks?

Are you referring to a style in the template css file?
What file is the style in?

Hi Paul - sorry for the slow reply. Life got in the way.

Yes - I did comment this out, but it didn't fix it...

And yes, it was in custom.css

Thanks

Hi Paul - sorry for the long gap.

Turns out it was a memory problem in Safari. When I really give it a hammering I've discovered it can throw a wobbly.

Spent ages trying to track down another anomaly. Eventually rebooted Safari and it went away.

You'd think I might have learned by now...

Thanks for the support anyway.
