Joomla 3.6.0 reveals hidden issues

Hi,

I have 2 separate issues with multiple JB sites, but some sites that have no issues. Go figure. :S

#1. mod_default Admin and Site in Discover. My Googling show that these are related to Nooku_Modules which are now defunct. In one site I just deleted the folders in the site and removed them from the extensions database table. Is this the appropriate thing to do?

#2. Ajax Interface and Content History menu options under Components menu backend. This might be what I am finding discussed here: developer.joomla.org/joomlacode-archive/issue-32332.html but I am unsure. Any clue on this?

Thanks,
Helen
