A readmore is created using an article and the readmore



This is using the jce editor

In a custom html module it would be a standard button - is that what you are looking for?

Also I am wondering what controls the styling of the zen tools slideshow in the banner position?

I have had a play with THEME/theme panel and also the ADVANCED SETTINGS/module style...

I would just like to have the slider on a white background ie: no blue/grey border...

Hi Paul- Scrap that I figured that one out- I now just have 3 remaining mysteries : )

1. How do I get rid of that grey bar underneath the slideshow banner?
Also how do I make the slideshow stretch to the width of that banner?

2. How do I change the styling of the module I have published in the bottom positions? I can figure why this is black?

3. Why isn't my facebook icon linked?

For the grey below the banner - its actually the border off the row below so try adding this

#grid1wrap .zen-spotlight {border-top:0;}

for the full width do you have the banner row set as full width in the theme tab using the row style setting options?

You may also need to switch to backstretch slideshow in the zentools2 settings but I'd check the row style first

The bottom colour looks like the row style setting for this row - you could change the colour using a setting or override it using custom.css

The facebook one I will need to get back to you on that in the morning or when I can grab rob or anthony

Thanks so much for all your help! Don't worry about the Facebook thing- I have disabled the Facebook functionality and am now just using a zensocial module in my bottom section.

I am afraid I have more questions though...SORRY!

1-My menu isn't functioning properly in mobile view - the menu heading 'Why Chiropractic' can be rolled over to reveal sub menus on larger screen sizes but not on mobile view (I created 'WC' as a menu heading is this the wrong thing to do?)

2-I have my slideshow published on the homepage and also at the top of many articles. When it is displayed above the articles it has more padding than on the homepage...Why would this be? I would like to have the slideshow display the same.

Also on the articles that don't have the slideshow published I still have the area for the banner position showing...I would like to get rid of that...

What breakpoint are you seeing this on and what device / browser?

With 3.

I do see text in the banner position in white text so its not viewable

Integer velit metus, ullamcorper ...

If you remove that does that solve problem 3?

All sorted except for the menu-

When the menu collapses into the stacked setting the menu heading 'why chiropractic' does not work. This is across all browsers and an android device that I have tested it on.

Hi Julia,
When using the stacked menu it basically hides all of the sub menu items. So if the top level is just a separator and doesn't hold a link then this is the behaviour you will see. You would need to add a link to that top item link in order for this to work for the Stacked menu.

Have you tried changing the link type from heading to either an article or blog link type?
