Hi,

I just installed the the onepage template, but there is no modules showing up on the page. Only the header (One Page) and the "joomla template by..." thingie. I am completely new to this, but I have googled for quite a while now.

Thanks!

Hi

Were you expecting demo / sample content to display?

If so you would need to install the quickstart file - this is on the same downloads page

If you haven't added much content to the site I'd perhaps look at a newer starter theme - perhaps responsive2

Its newer and is more advanced

Well, I guess. I want the same modules as in the demo, however I would like to personlize them. How do you modify the template? For example, if I would want to change the header from "Oneplate" to "Myname", how would I proceed? I there something wrong with my googling skills?

Also I installed the quickstart file but nothing seems to happen.

OK, to be sure that I make my self understood I have added a picture of how my page looks at the moment. I would like (1) the main menu to show, as well as (2) be able to write personalized contentin it, and (3) personalize the header. If it is not obvious enough, I am completely new to Joomla and making websites in general. Thanks!

Hi

With installing any quickstart you need to make sure you click to install sample data during the installation of the quickstart file/site

As you don't seem to have added much content - I'd suggest trying the responsive2 quickstart and use the open page template that comes with that template

bambootheme.com/showcase/apr15/one-page-example

But all templates from Focus2 above offer one page template capability
