About Zenkit...

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

Hello,
maybe my question is stupid ... but Zenkit is used instead of Zentools if K2 is installed in the template or it's just an extra layer to display K2 items differently?

Thank you :)

Hi Lorenzo,
Yes its just the latter - a different way to present K2 content inside the K2 component.

Zentools can display the same content but outside of the component.

Hope that helps.

... another question  ... if I want to use another CCK, such as Flexicontent or Seblod, these items will be recognized in Zentools?

Hello again ... :)
... finally I will not use K2 for this project, first because I don't think that Zenkit works correctly with Ecolife template, I still have the same type of display even if I change template in the master category, and also because with K2 I am limited with the positions of additional fields, I can't really place them where I want (eg additional fields below the photo), I would need more flexibility as Flexicontent, except that Flexicontent is not compatible with Zentools so I'll proceed with simple Joomla items.

I hope that in the near future Zentools will become compatible with Flexicontent, I just discovered this CCK and he looks really flexible, exactly what I was looking for ...

Hi

K2 does require a learning curve if you've not used it before - normally the information you've added suggests a k2 configuration issue

I'll pass on your feedback and suggestions regarding flexicontent
