Difference Between Quick Start Template "Front Page" and "Sub Page"

I'm using a QuickStart template (in this case, New Lifestyle). I notice in the Template Manager, it lists both New Lifestyle-Front Page and New-Lifestyle-Sub Page. What is the difference? Front page was the default assigned with the Quick Start install. Is there a scenario where I'd want to change it to the Sub Page? Thanks!

Hi

It depends really on the layouts you want to use on the sites

Hide front page removes the content area and leaves the published modules in place - this is a common setup

If you say wanted to use a different layout file (extra columns etc) you may want to use a sub page template style
