I don't like the look of the home page..for me it's as if something's missing..Also, the line breaks on this page bother me. Is there a way to get rid of them?

Any tips and tricks to make the homepage more professional are welcome!

There is no slideshow so no animation and no panel in the top right corner

What do you mean by line breaks can you point out by a screenshot which area you are referring to?

Also the tabs aren't being utilised with only tab showing

I'd a favicon and change the title from home to something relevant to the site

You can do that via the page display tab on any menu link

They didn't want the animation. I liked it too, and maybe I'll try again to convince them.

I attached an image of the linebreaks on the homepage.

The home-title has been changed, and also the title of the slide2-position that shows the image of 'Saniflor'. Think I find the homepage not that colourful..but I still have to sit together with the client, maybe they do like the look of it (no complaints so far!).

Then comes the tricky part, moving it to another domain..

Are you using Akeeba backup together with akeeba kickstart to move the site?

Not quite sure what you mean by home-title

Was it displayed using the menu link and the page display tab? - so its set to show as page heading?

Saniflor is the name of a module in module tabs position?
