Custom CSS for footerwrap not working

Hi Friends
I have been trying for hours to get custom CSS for the footerwrap and nothing happens!

I have been adding
#footerwrap {
background: #ff3767;
}

and

#footerwrap .zen-container {
background: #e78a6b;
}

Any suggestions?

Your footwrap would work but you are missing a close bracket here

.t3-mainnav .t3-navbar {
width: 100%;
