controlling jquery

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

I have an issue with editors not showing up in the front end for creating / editing new articles. Apparently something in one of the later versions of JQuery has been deprecated... where is the version or source of jquery controlled?

template is hub2 v2.1.0
T3 v 2.3.0

What is the error you see?

editors don't appear on 'create an article' from the front end. If I try a blog plugin the css breaks (bootstrap conflict again - I wish Joomla would get its act together on the newer technology), and submit buttons don't submit. (CJBlog)

Interestingly, K2 works, so it looks as though I will have to spend a boatload of time to configure it. (Zenkit doesn't seem to do anything.)

I'm putting it aside for a couple days to get my sanity back, and finish off a couple 80% completed projects. Like the one we were discussing in the other thread.

Right sounds like conflicts between styling in components

With zenkit do you have the right k2 template selected in the category? and with perhaps other categories inheriting the parameters?

Zenkit template selected in categories - and there is only one category!

Right so you would chose the zenkit template you want to use in that category and then alter the options are required

Unfortunately the time saver is when you can inherit settings from a parent category

I agree about inheritance on category style K2 - makes up for lost time in a hurry.

Back to JQUERY issues....

On a different site, I am loading a zentools module in a {loadposition } statement - and I get (among other js and call stack errors)

[root]/[path-to-image]:1
Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found) [root]/media/mod_zentools/js/jquery-1.8.3.min.js
Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found) [root]/media/mod_zentools/js/jquery-noconflict.js

this is with a fresh install of zentools 1.13.2

What happens if you turn it off
As far as I'm aware we only suggest turning it on for filtered grid
