Hi guys,

I am trying to install the Motion Quickstarter package (J3.0) that I downloaded directly from your repository today, on this site:
www.slosch.de

I do not even get to the installation start page but get the following errors:

Warning: Class '\Joomla\Registry\Registry' not found in /homepages/16/d206080728/htdocs/sloschDE/libraries/loader.php on line 486

Fatal error: Class 'JRegistry' not found in /homepages/16/d206080728/htdocs/sloschDE/libraries/joomla/application/web.php on line 117

I managed to install the same package on my local server without any problems. Any ideas what could help?

Are you able to install other quickstarts on to the live host?

Can you install the generic Joomla install as well?

Does the host support J3?

Hi Paul,

ok, this is what I have done now:

- Removed the package and installed plain J3 > installs fine
- Removed J3 again.
- Tried two other Quickstarts. There I got the installer, but with another error. It did not install in the end (see screenshot). The packages I tried were OnePage and Profile
- I guess I will try a 2.5 Quickstart package once, just to see if that works.

So sorry for the trouble.

Are you able to create a ticket with ftp and database details so we can try and install this for you?

Hard to say whats going on here without looking but I want to get you up and running as I bet you do too.
