As some of you may already know, we're about to develop a J! + MijoShop site.

Client wants an ultra-modern look and feel, while retaing easy access to information and purchasing.

Can ANY JB templates be used for such a site, or are we limited to those intended for e-commerce?

If any can be used, which do think would serve the purpose best? Thanks.

(The client wants lots of CMS-type content, hence Joomla!, alongside a well-stocked e-commerce section)

Any template can be used and customized to the specific needs. The difference between eCommerce templates and any other is that eCommerce templates already provide specific design and customizations for a specific shop extensions (not all of course). Which shop extension is supported directly with the specific customizations is written in the download section of each such template and you can also see how those shop extensions look like in the demo of the template on our demo server
