class suffix

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

Hi - I've seen somewhere a complete list of visuals for all the built in class suffixes for the Responsive template using J 3.2.2, but I can't find it again. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Thanks

They are listed

on the appearance tab

Hi Paul - thanks for getting back to me.
I had found these already - but I'm sure somewhere I've seen actual illustrations of the effect these suffixes have, and how they work in combination. It would be good to see what effect they are supposed to achieve.
These ones seem to work fine when applied in line, but not so well when I add them in the advanced options to a module.
Are there any rules about how they should be applied?
Thanks again
Ian

You can find the page you are referring to here on the demo site

With adding classes make sure you always have a space before the class name otherwise it will break - this is very important for the first class

otherwise it will break the template styling for the module

Thanks Paul - I knew I'd seen it somewhere. And thanks for the tip about the first space - I hadn't taken that in.

I've got another question if you have time today.

If you look at www.leadbetters.co.uk/newsite/ the links for removals, storage, packing and free quote in the menu bar are working fine, with the link changing to highlight when you're on the appropriate page.
However, I've duplicated the links in the pictures below and they are not working as above, except for removals, where I've pasted in the actual url, rather than the link from the menu item.
Any ideas?
Thanks

Those pages seem to work for me content wise but the urls look wrong - have you pasted the correct urls?

HI Paul - on the storage pic I've pasted this link from the menu item: index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=80
Is that the wrong thing to do?
Thanks Ian

Yes it is

Install the JCE editor
Set it as editor via the global configuration
In the article/module use the paperclip icon with the image selected
Point to the menu link you already have created for that item

Hi Paul - I think that's exactly what I've done - screenshot attached.
Am I being slow again?
Thanks

So no pasting of the actual link?

so in that screen you clicked the menu and selected the right link?

Ah. Now I see. I've been copying the link from the menu item for the respective page, and pasting it into this window.
Now I've selected the link from within this window it works fine.
That explains some of the problems I've had in the past…
Should have read the manual.
Thanks for this.
Still having problems with the suffixes. I can get the primaries and corner to work on the module, but not shadow, hot, rounded or new or any of the others, even with the initial space. Seems to work fine in line.
Not my day today,
Thanks again

Some combinations of classes may not work as they will override bits of the previous suffix - I'd try the examples like on the demo site

So I'd try the ones that don't work on their own first

Sorry - just another quick thought. Should the module style at the bottom of the advanced box be set to inherited?

Leave it at whatever the default is unless you want to add the chrome classes (which are different than the page I pointed at previously)

Please note there are only four chrome styles available - not the five I'm afraid - you can see the available examples list in the right menu on the link
