Menu problem

Hi - Responsive template, J 2.2
I can't get the default article to show on the home page. I've reduced everything to just one article, and one menu item and I can't see what I'm doing wrong. Can anyone help?

Sorry - it's Joomla 3.2.2 not 2.2

Are you hiding the frontpage content (via the general tab) or are you using a layout that doesn't include the content are

There is commonly a layout used for the frontpage that excludes the content area
