installing a new purchased template

Hi, I am working on a MAC. When I access the admin panel of my joomla site and attempt to upload my purchased template, I only find folders and no zipped files. How do MAC handle "package" files?

Hi Paul,

Thanks for getting back to me. I am trying to install complete new template from my admin panel. I used the extension manager which is looking for a zipped file. The new template that I downloaded to my MAC (template name is Responsive) does not have zipped files.

Thanks
Anna

I'm not a mac user but is it set to auto extract in safari?

"If you would rather Safari just download the .zip file and leave if for you to decide what to do:

Open Safari
Click Preferences
Uncheck the option Open “safe” files after downloading"

I just googled it and this was suggested on a mac forum
