Something wrong with install

I have installed a new quickstart template by uploading to my cpanel...everything went fine...went through install at site admin...I uploaded the sample data...all was good until I went to view site...I get a blank white screen ...help...I believe I am supposed to see exact copy of demo site

can you access the admin side of the site?

Right - so you need to set the error reporting level to maximum

A blank screen is an error

This article will help - its for Joomla 2.5 but its the same process

It should hopefully provide a clue on what is happening

You need to install/enable the php-gd library on the server I'm told :)

not sure what that means...it is a server I get from godaddy that hosts all of my sites and files...

Hi

No probs - you are on a shared server

You need to ask them to look at the hosting setup and fix it for you
