I have this further question...

When I install my template (Inspire) from the quickstart package I get two versions of it showing in the template manager; one for the Home Page and one for the Default.

How do I reproduce that 'double installation' when I'm installing just the template into an existing joomla installation?

Hi

Its actually a template style rather than a duplicate installation

Its a copy of the template which enables you to have a different setup of a template on different pages on a site

so in this case the quickstart has a home style template style and a default template style which is on all the other pages (apart from Home page)

To duplicate it

Open up the version you have and hit the "save" arrow button in top left corner
Then chose "save as copy" and name

Then hit "close" button

In the template styles you will now have a new template style you can rename, change layout etc

To change it just open it up by clicking on it
