Any idea how I can get rid of this message about the Vertex 2 Framework at the bottomw of the page?

There was basically an ad at the bottom of the page last night. This morning when I woke up it was gone.

Is it possible something was left from an old template that they can turn off and on?

Anything 'could' be possible...

What 'could' have happened was some old cache from the old template still hanging around and in between visits, it timed out on your end. Might consider doing a global 'clear cache and expire cache' function just to be sure.
