I'm not sure what do the logo settings look like in the admin?

I have two logo modules. What a twit.

But, while I'm here... I note in the template admin bit, there is an entry for "logo text" -font etc.

How do I get this to work? Ie I know you can add a text logo by replacing the image with text, but how can I get the template's Logo font to work?

You need to go to www.google.com/fonts

Chose the font from there and enter the font name in the admin font box - e.g. Open+Sans:400,600,300:latin

The numbers are the font weight so you could just give the font name

sorry - misunderstood

You need to change the module published to the logo position
You will need to add html depending on the heading tag you want to use

I've just tried this using h6 and Electrolize font and it works ok

okay, so are you saying that I put in a custom html module -check, got that.

The next bit, about the heading tag, and how you used h6 and "Electrolize" font.

How did you that --in the custom HTML? ie did you change the editor into "view html" mode, and change the html locally. If you did, to what did you change it to, to get the "logo" font?

The font is the font selected in the template admin for the logo fonts in the fonts tab

In the module you just need to add the html contained by any heading tag - you can add via html mode or via whatever editor you are using

The Electrolize font is from the new fonts added by google on the google fonts site - just taken at random

errr. so I have a text logo in the custom html box. it is in position logo.
the text in the box is "heading 1". But, it is still only showing the font that is set in the html box? (I have it as Trebuchet). I think you are telling me that this is overridden by the template choices?
if you are, then it's not...

in your example using h6, so am I. here is the HTML:

<h6><span style="font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva; font-size: 18pt; color: #ffffff;">Psychological Minds</span>
</h6>

what does your HTML look like?

This is what the logo html should be is this case

<h6>Psychological Minds</h6>

with the logo font/font size controlled by the template tab > fonts and logo font section

and with no google font selected - instead as the Trebuchet font stack
