Theme Magic [SOLVED]

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

Howdy!

Even though I do a lot of CSS overrides in the custom.css file, it seems like some CSS would be easier to change in ThemeMagic. For example, link colors. I can override them manually in custom.css, but there are a million different things that have link CSS, and overriding all of them, manually, is like going to Mars by bicycle. And of course, that's probably why we have ThemeMagic, so that's good all around!

That said, two questions, please:

1) Is the best way to use ThemeMagic to modify the "Default" theme (please see attached)?

2) If I do this, will the values be overridden when the template is updated?

Thank you,

Bill

Hi

You can't save to the default theme you will need to save as and then name it

If you click the arrow by the button marked preview that will reveal the save as

The changes will be respected if the template is updated as its saved
