Joomla 2.5 Quickstart Packages not opening

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

Hi

I have a problem with all the Joomla 2.5 Quickstart packages I've tried to upload onto my domain. I am working on a Mac and the message I keep getting is:

End-of-central-directory signature not found. Either this file is not
a zipfile, or it constitutes one disk of a multi-part archive. In the
latter case the central directory and zipfile comment will be found on
the last disk(s) of this archive.
unzip: cannot find zipfile directory

Please help!

What file are you trying to upload?

and how big is the file when you try to upload it?

Hi Paul

I've tried various of the template quickstart package files. Nebula, Maxbiz2, Onepage, Moments, etc. The Nebula zip file for instance is 50,4MB. I've never had this problem before.

What file are you interested in particularily?

Just so we can try a different method for you downloading the file

Thanks, that's perfect!

I have one more question. Is there any way to replace the stationary Header images in ...template/images... with a slideshow?

Its a bit beyond the scrope of your membership but I think if

you change the max-width and margin 0 auto for the bannerwrap container that will get you started

You will need to remove the js effect from the template file as well

and the margin top value from the banner wrap area

so you will need to tweak a fair bit of css and alter a template php file

Thinking about it you will probably need to add some z-index values as well

Good luck with it

If you are in a desperate need for the slideshow to work we do offer custom support blocks you can purchase
