Do you have a tool that you folks recommend for site maps? This was easy to do on my html site but I'm not sure whats involved with a Joomla based site.

The site map that is packaged with JB's Quickstart/Snapshot packages is Xmap. You can download it here;

I installed using the quickstart package. I see that in the extension manager under plug ins there is a "Button - Xmap link" and in the plug in parameters it reads
"sitemap Element not defined for type = sitemap"

I read int he setup up it has to be published to the menu which it appears to be. Its published to the bottom menu.
If I click on it from the front page I get a 404 error.

Xmap is a component with supporting plugins. Download it from the Joomla Extensions link above and then install it on your end. I noticed in Avanti that it is only referenced as a plugin button but within the WoodFlower theme it was part of the initial install. Hope this helps you out...?

Is there a secret to installing it. I can't install while zipped, because of this erreor messgae (Error! Could not find an XML setup file in the package.) So I unzipped it and it still doesn't seem to want to install. Perhaps I am not clicking the proper file. Should I upload to my site and install from there? If so what directory should I put it in?
