Resizing Module widths in T3

Hi Folks

A common question that is asked - "is how to resize positon widths in a T3 template?"

So below is a series of screenshots to explain this :)

Open up the template admin and navigate to the layout tab
The arrow indicates the module positions tab - below this is the positions currently set up in this layout

Where the arrow indicates this controls the number of positions you have available in this row - currently it has 4

The above row only has 1

You can change this by simply clicking the numbers
- once clicked it will always divide the numbers of positions equally between the number of positions and the total allowed for a row e.g. 12 (total)

so currently with it being 4 positions available it means each position is currently 3 wide

Some rows because of a template design won't have the numbers available

To control the widths of each module individually you need to switch to the responsive layout as marked by the top arrow

The second arrow indicates the device layout you are working on - for different device layouts you will need to have different position values as required (see next pic for more info)

To resize the position you need to click here as marked by the arrow and tooltip and drag required

If the totla widths are higher than 12 the last position will drop to the next line

Here you can see an example of various position widths

If required you can hide a module position by clicking the eye as indicated by the arrow

Each device layout needs to be set up as required - here you can see the device "normal"

The grid widths are still at the default widths
