Zenkit - width of lightbox window w blog content

I'm trying to get the modal window in zenkit to open the model window to something other than the width of the largest photo embedded. I can target jackbox-holder and the html > div with a min-width css, but i'm thinking this isn;t really a 'responsive' solution (and besides the text is partially hidden in my early tweaks). Any suggestions? I have the modal window width set to 720, but it's opening to the width of the photo unless i insert css edits.
