I'm using JB Rasa with JB Maps on the following site :

www.new.externcom.com/externcom/nous-contacter

For an unknown reason, instead of having the usual Google Marker to point the spot I chose in the Google map (longitude and lattitude) I have a sort of small white square with a shadow...

How can I have the usual Google marker or another marker that I could create?

That is very strange Stefan.

I can see that the marker is being loaded from Google, no problems there.

Can you try switching to another template (e.g.: Purity) to see if that changes anything?

You were right, it could be a problem with the JB Rasa template since when I switched to Zen Avanti the Google marker was ok.

Could someone please check asap what could be wrong with the JB Rasa and JB Map google marker?

Looks like this is a bug in the framework.

Ive loggd it as a ticket and will get a fix for you next week.

Hi Stefan,
I just tested the JB Maps module with Rasa and the map markers are showing for me, do you have the newest versions of the template, framework, library, and extension installed?
It looks like there are other scripts active on the page, and although I do not see any javascript errors there could be a conflict. Have you tried turning modules and plugins off and turning just the maps module on, to see if it is actually not working because of the template? If it works with just the template, then you could try turning on your other modules and plugins one by one to target the conflict.

I think it is really linked to some templates since when I change from JB Rasa to Zen Avanti for example, the marker is ok.

I have the sametype of error on another site where I use the Zen blank template : www.fitnessanancy.fr/

So I guess it is really linked to some templates as it was suggested by Anthony.

So I hope the fix will be released soon - Anthony spoke of some days before it should be available, so it should bnot be too long for the fix now, I hope...

Just chattign with Steph and I think the issue I was thinking of was different to yours. She cant replicate it on a test site so perhaps can you create a ticket and we will have a look. We think it may be a conflict from somewhere else.

Ive just released v1.1 of the map module which is a significant upgrade.

It works out of the box for me. The new version doesnt require the api key to work.

Do you have the latest JB LIbrary plugin installed?

I installed the latest release of the JB Library. I tried different settings (out of the box parameters, then I tried to change the JQuerry version and source etc) but nothing worked.
Although, I can see that the module is probably there, since I see the space available for the width and height (400x400) I chose in the main content :
www.new.externcom.com/externcom/nous-contacter

The module (ID 94) is placed between :

LES COORDONNEES
externCom, 65 rue la Fontaine
92 260 Fontenay aux Roses

MODULE ID 94
