jFlickr with Morph Framework?

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

I am seeing no images loading. I see now another longstanding thread on the subject. I'll check that out.

But are there any fundamental reasons that jFilckr shouldn't work with Morph?

Thanks!

Hi Ken,

Do you have JBLibrary installed?

Duh. No I hadn't.

And also, I hadn't set where the scripts were to load.

Now, the images load, but in a single column. Flipping through the module settings, it wasn't immediately clear, not like Captify or Microblog, how to control the layout, rows/columns, etc.

Since I have a working module already, I am going to back off this for now, but thanks for the clue to help me get it working.

Thanks Ken.

jFlickr should just fill the space thats available if the css is set to load. So you may just need to increase the width of the container that its in.

Similar issue. Firebug is listing just the domain name as the source of this selector : .gallery-flickr ul li

Which file is that in?

Thanks!

Its in the mod_jflickr/tmpl/default.php file.

Hey, Thanks. I don't know, but that seems like bad form, right? Shouldn't there be an external CSS file, so that we can Firebug using standard tools and methods?

Anyway, I guess that there's an unavoidable issue, where if your jFlicker is an even number of rows at 1200px, then it probably won't be when viewed at 1024px width?

On a related note, but still under Morph, I am using both jTweet and jFlickr, and both are loading precisely double (x2) the number of items that I am putting in the module.

The site is electandytoy.com

Hi Ken,

jQuery is loading 4 times! Try setting the JB Libray option 'enable unique' to stop the other instances of jQuery loading.

Thanks. I've done as you suggested.

Now I see only one script line like type="text/javascript" src="/templates/morph/core/js/jquery.js" in the Source, so I assume that's fixed.

So, is that one of the benefits of JBLibrary, suppressing multiple JS from loading?

Is JBL designed to be a superset of any JQuery functionality that other modules may need?

Thanks!

Glad that fixed it for you Ken, it is one of the nice features of JB Library :)

We actually did that to reduce the number of http requests.

You can actually disable the css and then grab that css and load it into your template css to optimise it more.

Ok, so that's the CSS that's referenced in the module option. I am beginning to see what might be a clue on the distant horizon now. :)

Thanks for the info!

No probs.

Adding this to the doc page is on my list but things keep getting out at the top of the todo unfortunately.
