Deleting jFlickr

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

I am wanting to delete jFlickr due to formatting issues with my template. I am unable to figure out where I might do this. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Hi there,

You need to go to extension manager > install uninstall > modules and select jFlickr from the list and then hit uninstall in the top right hand corner.

Hope this helps.

Thanks Anthony for the quick reply. I would have thought the same thing but JFlickr is no where to be found. I have JTweet which I loaded and am using. It's a mystery for me right now.

If I wish to install a new module the option of JFlickr is still available so I am extremely puzzled.

I am comfortable enough to do a manual uninstall if I have to but I want to ensure that I don't mess something else up.

Thanks.

Hmm thats pretty weird.

So jFlickr is in the module list but not in the install/uninstall list?

Are the files for jFlickr on the server?

I found that mod-JFlickr does exist under the Modules folder. I cleared the cache a) internally while in Joomla, b) closed Firefox to ensure the cache was cleared, c) purged SEF URL's in sh404Sef and yet no success.

Yeah thats weird.

Try renaming the file names to remove or add uppercase to the F in jFlickr.

If that doesnt work then please log a ticket with some ftp and J login details and Ill investigate further.
