Item Count Issue

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

Hello,

I am having an item count issue. I set the item count at 9, items per row at 3, and it is still staying at 2 x 3. When I adjust the item count, nothing happens. I could change it from 2 to 12 and it still shows 6 images. When I change the row size to 4, it shows a third row but with only 1 image on the third row, 2 on the second, then 3 on the first. So again, still only staying at 6 total images it is showing.

I adjusted the K2 Item Settings to select 9 total images to match the image content source of 'K2 Items'.

Does anyone have any ideas on how I can fix this issue? I just want a 3x3 grid.

Thanks.

Can you confirm that you have the latest version of the module?

I have version 1.0.2. I'll update it and go from there. Thank you.

Updating the version fixed that issue.

Something new has arisen that I can't seem to figure out...

When I select K2 categories as a source of the images (even though I added the images to each category and selected the proper ones in the CaptifyContent menu) the module doesn't seem to pull any images at all. I double checked the settings of my categories and everything seems to be set properly.

The error is here: www.itcpack.com/test/

Let me know at your earliest convenience.

Thank you!

I found a fix to this category issue by deleting the mod_captifycontent folder in my template's html folder then deleting the site's cache.

The only issue now is that captifycontent is displaying the correct images, but they for some reason are very low resolution. I tried uploading the images again but to no avail.

Thanks Curt.

There is a setting that controls the K2 Item image option int he module.

It should be labelled:
K2 Item Image size

If you don't see that can you try installing the latest version?

Thanks

That is not the issue. The image sizes are fine and currently set at original (the images are the correct size for captifycontent).

The issue is that the resolution of the images are very low even though they shouldn't be.

The images in captifycontent are being pulled from the category images. I have attempted to adjust various image size settings in the K2 categories, but nothing has worked yet. I will continue to play around with settings but if you know of any fixes for this resolution issue located at www.itcpack.com/test please let me know.

Thank you for your time,

Curt

Hi Curt,

You have Captify set to display images at 320x225px, but the K2 images it's set to use are only 100x80px, e.g.: www.itcpack.com/test/media/k2/categories/86.jpg, which is why they are blown up and poor quality.

Hi

I have the same problem as described above. I couldn't create a 3x3 design. I had the 1.02 version of captify. I updated it to 1.1.11. Then all i got was a blank page so i deleted the folder mention by curt "mod_captifycontent". Since then i can see my page but the captify is not loading. I used the same configuration as i did in 1.02 version. I tried every possible way of configuration in captify with no results.

My joomla version is 2.5.2 and k2 version 2.5.1
The link to the page that has the problem is:

www.salmas-living.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=87&Itemid=641

If you have any ideas please help.

Thank you in advance

Hi Christina,

Can I first suggest taking a backup of the site you have currently using something like akeeba backup core

Then updating the Joomla version to 2.5.9 and then update k2 to the current version

We updated the captify module to deal with the current version of k2

Cheers
