website will not display when I enable captify content

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

Hello!

I just installed a new website, Joomla 2.5.6, and have Responsive as the template. I have not done much to this site, but did install Captify Content to use on the frontage. When I enable this module the website goes blank:

www.dolivcreative.com/dolivpublishing/

I thought this worked with Joomla 2.5.6, but not sure what I am doing incorrectly?

Any suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks! Kris

It seems to be having a problem with the resize image function.

There is a line break where the image source should be
<img src="<br />

You might be able to fix it by removing the linebreak before your article image, but there is probably a deeper problem with the way the module picks up the images.

Ok... I believe this has been corrected. You have to leave the Category description area blank. I deleted the information placed there to get this fixed. But, unfortunately the images still do not show? You can see the module is published "Home Blocks" on frontpage. I enabled the title to make sure, but no photos. Not sure what to do different.

I think you should still be able to add a description to the category.

Where are you adding the images to show, articles or categories. Within the text or the featured image?

Is it possible to make some screenshots of your module settings?

Here you go...

Load CSS is enabled
There is no caching set
and any other areas like K2 and content images are not included since they do not apply.

I have it set to my category images.

The only thing I have changed since I started this post was to delete what I had in the category description. This allowed the website to show instead of a blank page.

Hi there,

Where should this display on your site?

Not sure where I should be looking.

Thanks Anthony

If you have the module set to show category images, then you need to add an image to the category description, otherwise there is no image for the module to show.

Try inserting an image into the description and see if it starts to show on the frontend.

Hello,
Yes. I understand this. It is set to category images, and originally I had the image set in the description. That is what cause the website to go blank... as you will see now. I just loaded an image directly into the category description and hit save and the website go blank. If I remove it... the website appears. I did this and tried to ad the image via the "basic option" on the category panel and the website appear with the title os the module showing on the homepage at the top, but no pictures.

Honestly... I installed Joomla, installed Responsive and then installed this module. I didn't change any of the preset setting except for the captify image sizes.

I am at a loss. I have this same module working on an older version of this site. Works fine. I did try everything that you have offered up.

Hello, I just submitted a ticket with login information. I have tried everything short of messing with the program. I do not want to do that. This seems like a basic install and setup, but I can't get images to show. Hope you can show me I have some crazy setting off... Thanks!

Hi
usually this is problem of wrong folder permissions. You should check cache folder and imgcache folder inside JB Library.

So check this:
/media/plg_jblibrary/imagecache

Please, don't use 777 but use 775.

Well, I don't know how to help more. Usually if there is something I say create ticket add ftp access and I will look and solve it for you...but I don't know how to deal with it in this case as I think you can't create ticket :(
