zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

Hi folks,

I'm looking for a solution to display images on my site in www.podcastcafebrasil.com.br/cafepedia

I have a folder mod_captifyContent/imagecache with 755 permission (already tested with 777)

Please take a look at www.podcastcafebrasil.com.br/cafepedia

Thank you in advance

Best regards

Hello,

Is it possible to post a link to where the module is published so we can diagnose?

Hi there,

I think the issue is the space in your image filenames. Just rename your images, removing the space or using_an_underscore-or-hyphen instead :)

Hello!

I have a similar problem. Images with spaces in their names appear normaly on the frontpage, but on any other subpage the image does not appear. I get the error:
/<br /> <b>Warning</b>: filemtime() [<a href='function.filemtime'>function.filemtime</a>]: stat failed for /var/www/vhosts/xxx/images/stories/2012-07/Veslanje%20Solkan%20DP%20sprint_7.7.2012_014.jpg in <b>/var/www/vhosts/xxx/media/plg_jblibrary/helpers/image.php</b> on line <b>35</b><br /> <br /> <b>Warning</b>: imagecreatefromjpeg() [<a href='function.imagecreatefromjpeg'>function.imagecreatefromjpeg</a>]: Unable to access /var/www/vhosts/xxx....e.php</b> on line <b>43</b><br /> <br /> <b>Warning</b>: imagesx() expects parameter 1 to be resource, boolean given in <b>/var/www/vhosts/xxx/media/plg_jblibrary/helpers/image.php</b> on line <b>63</b><br /> <br /> <b>Warning</b>: imagesy() expects parameter 1 to be resource, boolean given in <b>/var/www/vhosts/xxx/media/plg_jblibrary/helpers/image.php</b> on line <b>64</b><br /> /images/stories/2012-07/Veslanje%20Solkan%20DP%20sprint_7.7.2012_014.jpg

Is it possible to fix this, becouse I have a very large site and I cannot ask all the users to upload images without spaces...

TNX!

Hi there,

Unix based operating systems dont allow spaces in file paths. A space signifies the end of the file path, so in your example the image script tries to retrieve a file at /images/stories/2012-07/Veslanje and fails.

Many file upload methods do not allow the upload of files containing spaces for this very reason. It's unfortunate that Joomla's defaults allow this.

I have the same problem at www.pharmacus.com.br/ and the images have no spaces in the filename. You can see it some times in the 3rd zentool column, for example, in the random process when call the contents w/ this title:

Cálcio + Vitamina D + Magnésio + Zinco
Colágeno
Guaraná e Açaí
Quitosana + Pectina + Psyllium (Slim Prime)
Lecitina de Soja
Licopeno - de tomate
Óleo de Alho

Hi Anthony,

No, it still there. In the frontpage there are 3 zentool modules in 3 columns, showing an image and intro text. The last one have the problem. See the attach image file. If does not appear the problem, refresh the page somethimes.

Hi

I see that you have image link specified to image that doesn't exist...so you have to fix it:

www.weblandia.com.br/pharmacus/http:/weblandia.com.brimages/produtos/marca_propria/Linha_Puris/PURIS_Quitosana_pq.jpg 404 (Not Found)

Thanks Zuzuzu, but the wrong link is created by the zentool module. For example, in the article "Cálcio + Vitamina D + Magnésio + Zinco" I write the article with

weblandia.com.br/pharmacus/images/produtos/marca_propria/Linha_Puris/PURIS_VitD_pq.jpg

and the module create the thumb with another path:

www.weblandia.com.br/pharmacus/http:/weblandia.com.brimages/produtos/marca_propria/Linha_Puris/PURIS_VitD_pq.jpg

This is weird path.... weblandia.com.br/pharmacus/images/produtos/marca_propria/Linha_Puris/PURIS_VitD_pq.jpg
it is not absolute nor relative. So I believe once you fix these links to some correct form, either relative or absolute, it will work again.

Looking at the site - where abouts should the module be displayed?

You are also running two versions of jquery and one version if very old 1.3.2

Can you try turning off the k2 jquery and upping the jquery loading in the jblibrary plugin

Thanks

Module is located on the left bottom part of home page and it's called VIJESTI.

These are my current settings, but no improvement:

Plugin manager>System - JB Library>

JQUERY_VERSION v1.7.0 min
JQUERY_SOURCE Local
QUERY_NOCONFLICT Yes

Components>K2>Parameters

jQuery library handling Load v1.6.3 (local copy)
Backend jQuery & jQuery UI handling Load a remote copy of jQuarty & jQuery UI

I also to set Components>K2>Parameters

jQuery library handling Do not load the jQueary liberary and as result mu slideshow is gone and still images are not displayed

Any other proposals?
