Grid Template & Captify Content: I need help!

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

Hello.
First, I apologize for my bad english, but I hope to explain me.

I need help to publish images in CaptifyContent module through the Section Option.
I followed what you have wrote about in Grid Documentation, but in step 4 of "Configuring the front page"... I lose myself!
I see the menu exactly like I should not: the module showing up on links that are clicked on in the captify module itself.
Can you help me understand where I wrong?

Thank you so much

Enrico

Hi Enrico,

It sounds like a database ID issue. Funny things can happen if you have not created a menu item for a page. If the articles you are linking to do not have a menu item, you should create one. You don't have to publish the menu.

If I didn't get it right a link would be very helpful in diagnosing the issue.

Hi Seth,

Thank you very much for your fast answer.

Therefore if I have understood well, I have to create a menu that contains the 12 voices of the sections that I want show with CaptifyContent and these 12 voices must be connected to an article?

Hey Enrico,

That is correct. You can create a dummy menu with menu items which are links to each of the section pages that are linked to by captify.
You need not use this menu. It is enough that it exists.
Let us know f it works.

Cheers,
Jason.

Hi,
I'm sorry, but I don't understand...
Ok, I make a mistake about something… But I don't understand what!
I have created a dummy menu and if I don't publish it I don't see nothing. If I publish it I see the menu like a directory of link…
The dummy menu in what position must be?
Does the image connected to the section, have to be in the Description?

Thank you so much

Enrico

Create the dummy menu and add the items to it, publishing those items in the back-end.

BUT, don't publish the menu itself on your site. It should only be visible through the back-end. Simply having created menu items for your content items is enough to resolve the issue you had.
