Multi column layout and issues on the demo page

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

Hi
There is a mess on the page:
zentools.joomlabamboo.com/setup/creating-multi-column-layouts

In the section "An example of a complex layout" links don't work, "read more" is corrupted (probably earlier version of Zentools is used with read more bug).
I tested the newest version of Zentools on my test site www.witrazesc.com.pl/witraze/test/en.
Read more works OK, but I cant obtain multi column layout.

Thanks Anthony! Find a screenshot, please. I understand that Zentools are OK with ZenGrid v1.x?

Hi Tomasz,

You will need the latest (or at least very recent) version of the JB Library plugin for Zentools.

I have the latest 1.4.0 version of JB Library. Do you suggest that I should look for JB Library plugin for Zentools instead?

Actually Tomasz,

Looks like you need to add content in between the two columns.

So it would look more like images > column2 > text > column3 etc.

The columns basically create a new column wherever you place them so adding them at the start just creates blank space before you add any content in the module.

Thank you Anthony for your explanations. I followed them but cant force my Zentools module to work like it should. Maybe it is a conflict with other scripts or something else ...
I am giving up for now.

Hi Tomasz,

Sorry to hear that.

Im sure you are only a step away.

Can you create a ticket and Ill have a look for you?

Are you trying to replicate a single column with all of the items or multiple columns?

I am trying to replicate the layout visible on front page of www.witraze.info. K2 items are in three columns. It was obtained there by Microblog module. I thought it is possible with Zentools.

Looks like it is because you have the zen grid framework plugin installed.

If its installed on the site we don't load the grid.css because up until now we have assumed it was already loaded on the page.

We need to add a check to see if its published. In the meantime if you uninstall the framework plugin it will solve the issue for you.

Yes! Zen Grid Plugin was the reason. It is much better now. But still needs some configuring work as there are not spaces beetween the columns or alternatively there are empty spaces i the rows (if option Disable margin between grid items? is set: no).

Thank you!

Hi Tomasz,

Looks like you need to increase the resized image size and then reinstate the margins betweens the items.

That should fix the issue for you.
