Optimising website for mobile

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

Hello,

I trying to optimize website for mobile. I installed mobile joomla, and duplicating all the modules to apply to mobile joomla template. Is there anyway that I can use highline2 which is a default template also for mobile, that shows image resized according to screen size?
Thanks

Hi There,

Can I just check why you need mobile Joomla?
as the template is responsive e.g designed to work on different device screen widths

Hello Paul,

If the screen width is that of of mobile, pics used are not resized, instead I see only part of the pic from the left. Logo is overlapped with "close menu" dialog. I cannot access all the menu items of dropdown menu since I can not scroll down through list. Template is definitely responsive but images used are not according to mobile screen. Do I need to use .ai file for pic ?

Paul,

I am referring to the website. Images displayed in modules made with zentools2 is not exhibiting responsive behavior towards varying screen sizes. ex banner module, or articles. I will send you the link soon, I am running it on local server.

Paul,

You can also check with quickstart package for highline for what I am trying to explain above. I look forward to your response.

Thanks, I'll check with the team regarding the images as I can't see an issue

I think there is an update pending for a couple of the other issues you mention

Hello Paul,

I tried all the layouts in zentools2, only slideshow layout has a problem with image resizing for mobile, and articles-banner images. Thanks for your support.

Is this on the demo site and the quickstart together with your site?

What device are you using?

Hello Paul,

I am using samsung galaxy 4, but you can also check the compatibility on chrome console for various screen sizes for slideshow layout on the quickstart website.

Hello Paul,

Here is the link www.globalads.xyz . I changed to slideshow layout to carousal.

Background image I have used becomes 100% when screen size reduces, please let me know what should I do to keep it same for all the screen sizes.

Also, if I want to use different background image for each page, is there any way to do it via interface of the template on the backend? I know that I can use page class suffix, and module class suffix, but I want to know if there is any easier way. Thanks a lot.

Greetings
