Can you tell me how to create a carousel with 3 videos that display in a lightbox? I'v tried several things but had no success...

This is what I did - created articles with just an image and the video embed code

<iframe src="player.vimeo.com/video/84267118?byline=0&portrait=0" width="500" height="281" frameborder="0" webkitallowfullscreen mozallowfullscreen allowfullscreen></iframe>

Then in the module settings set to Carousel and joomla as the content source

add only the image to the drag and drop section

In the image settings set to lightbox

and whatever image effects you want regarding shadow, hover, etc

The module layout settings will depend a little on the image size you want e.g. image size and number of images you want to show

In the lightbox options

Enable

Display video instead of image

In the content tab set the category or the individual articles that you want to load

I should mention on testing this there is a problem relating to the extension handling urls from youtube

We are looking into this

I'd suggest for now testing with a vimeo video url as these are working fine

Thanks Paul. That seems to work with vimeo. Please let me know as soon as youtube works.

One question: I'd like to display the title for each video (titel of article) either above or as overlay. I've tried, but that doesn't seem to work...

Have you tried adding title in the drag and drop below the image

Setting the title to load lightbox

and in

Module layout and settings
Choose overlay

You may need to customise the style via the theme tab

We are looking at it

Are you releasing the site any time soon? as there is may be a way round it but it requires an adjustment to the youtube embed code

But if you did add the code it may need to be removed later on

The change I've added to the link from youtube is to change the link a little by adding

?v=

Before the unique video identifier

This now works for me when I test
