What's the best way to customise the way a document prints from the web page? Normally I'd customise the print.css as in the Beez tempate but I can't find the equivalent in the framework. Basically I just want to hide certain elements like the navigation and footer and maybe reduce the logo print size. Thanks

Hi Jan - yes just install over the top. Take a backup of your site first. No need but I always like to do this if I am updating something like the template ... just in case.

Thanks Anthony. I installed without problems. I may have misunderstood but I enabled the ' print template' settings toggle so that the general and theme settings get output at the bottom of the page but can't see anything related to print styles themselves. I know this is probably me having a 'senior' moment but can you tell me where I should be looking?

sorry for the confusion on this - that isn't referring to the print style sheet

after installing if you view the source code you should see

<link rel="stylesheet" href="/buildr23516/templates/buildr/css/print.css" type="text/css" media="print" />

with that you can add the required styles to print.css style sheet as it targets media="print"

Ah....thanks Paul! I didn't think that referred to the print stylesheet, I just thought it would output the print styles in addition to those it used to...sorry I was overthinking it - Anthony provided exactly what it was I originally looking for and I went looking somewhere else in the template just because it was a new file! Too much going on at once and an inability to ,uti task is my only excuse. Apologies again and thank you....perfect for what I need.
