no social icons showing

Hi,

I am using Buildr with a responsive layout.

I cannot get the social icons to show. Don't know why. Where are they located? Maybe it is a setting I must add in Admin Tools.

Also, confusing to me, Under Mobile Social Icons, there are two "Social icons position" dropdowns.

Do you have the shortcodes plugin installed?

Do you have a link for the site?

Hi Paul,

Working locally but I might be able to make it live.

I have the shortcodes plugin installed and enabled. It is 1.5.0 even though manager has it as 1.4.0.

Anything else to check?

Hi Paul,

No errors in Firebug, php console, joomla logs.

I just built a Quickstart of the same template and it works fine. But the one I am currently developing didn't start as a quickstart, so I must be missing an additional installation extension. But what?

Yes on Admin Tools Pro.

Checked the settings and they are the same as in the Quickstart pkg I installed (minus Admin Tools Pro).

Just replaced the .htaccess with default Joomla and it still doesn't work.

I would leave installing admin tools pro to the site is moved to a live server

I actually put Admin Tools Pro on after the problem.

This site was a Quickstart Responsive2, then updated to J3.5.1, then Buildr template installed, plus all the other necessary extensions for Buildr. Something just didn't jive in this scenario.

Hi Paul,

OK, after a total rebuild using Buildr Quickstart, the social icons do NOT show in the Responsive style.

So it is in the programming somewhere. :/
