BuildR - issues with margins and menu

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

Had deleted the BuildR template and have now reinstalled on an existing J3 website I have.

Am using the BuildR template for a 2nd website within my main one.

www.ecomad.com.au/mmp_upgrade/chimney-sheep-australia/

A few things I can't work out whats happening. I haven't touched any css (yet) but if you look at link above

1. I have a new menu for this site and all the menu items are published, have sub menu items, and are using the buildR template but only the first menu item (Home) is showing. Can't work out why the rest of the menu items are not showing.

2. I have a slideshow attached to the banner position like the buildr demo site. this is fine but there is a gap between that and the content below. How to remove this to make the content sit directly under the banner like on the demo site?

3. I have an article published as the "home" menu item and as you can see there are no margins. And no breadcrumbs.

Probably staring at me but I can't find out how to fix these issues.

3. For content width - without a row being clicked - what do you have in the width and padding section?

Yep just now. Have no idea why the menu and sub menu items other than the first item would not show - didn't make sense.

Had to make a new menu item and that has worked

settings same as both images you posted.

The row below the Banner row is Grid 5 and Grid 8 on one row.
Row padding is "No Padding" and Row Margin is Inherit.

Looking at the source code for the row below the banner I see

<section id="mainwrap" class="zen-row-wrap clearfix row-padding-vert">

to make sure I get the right ones - I go to the Banner row and click on the edit icon - and take a screen shot of the row style? If so have attached that - if wrong let me know.

I see that also, and turning it off with inspector does remove that gap between banner and content.

Other than a CSS override - where else might this setting be - can't find it in the template row styles

That has the vertical padding setting. The demo doesn't have this so wondering if its just with the standalone template.

Have changed it to inherit and now the padding has gone.

Thanks

But they way, have you found that saving the template after changes is really really slow - processor is working overtime, and firefox has not responding each time. Its taking 30-40 seconds to close and I can't move to another tab whilst it is saving. Painfully slow.

Hi

The demo doesn't have vertical padding enabled on this style - ah some settings are changed on the demo from the standalone

Regarding the speed what is the memory available on the hosting account?

Its shared hosting but

Cpanel says 1024Mb of physical memory.

Usage doesn't spike at all when I save in Firefox but monitor cpanel in Chrome.

Seems to be this end. I have about 20 Tabs open - not sure if that affects Firefox.

I do find Chrome a bit laggy with tabs open - looking at my memory on my pc it seems to leak when using chrome on any site

20 tabs is a lot - my pc wouldn't like that much

Do you have the same performance with just 1 tab open?

Cheers
