Corporation: Using Adobe Typekit and Font stacks

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

Hello -

sabina100.cloudaccess.host/100th.html

I am adding Adobe Typekit to replace Google as the font source. I've added the typekit code in the framework. I'll add the same font-stack I create at Adobe's kit editor to the custom CSS.

What should I do about the font-stack selection in the framework? My font-stack from typekit won't match it exactly.

There is a filed for adding a custom font style in the framework. Can I add only one custom font style? Does it need to be only for the logo? What advantage would adding code to the framework have over using custom CSS?

Hi Sharon,

With the slideshow module I think you need to turn off autoplay - if you have only one image it flickers a little

Regarding the font questions -

"What should I do about the font-stack selection in the framework? My font-stack from typekit won't match it exactly"

Are you having a problem with a certain tag?

Regarding custom font - if you are adding a lot I would use the custom css file - I think the advantage would be ease of management

Cheers

Thanks - I am waiting on someone to deliver the rest of the images

Most of the images are "temporary"

Hi Paul -

I will use using the custom CSS file. If i do should, I assume than I can ignore the framework settings.

Except perhaps for the FOUT. It looks like I should not enable the font loader because i don't want the text to flash.

Thanks again for your answers
