Duplicate theme?

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

Hi,

This is a silly question that I just cant seem to find an answer for. I would like to create a custom theme, so I am not using the [example]-blues preset, but I dont see a way to duplicate. How do I do this properly?

Hi Paul,

I see something a little different, and have tried adding "merritt" and the "save and compile theme", but then after saving "blues" shows up and in the drop-down there is no new "merritt" theme available.

Hi

Can you try and save with the browser window open showing the console tab - so you can see any errors showing

sorry my screenshot was for buildr - not quite sure why I thought you were using that template

Found the console, I also included the ftp folder in the screenshot. It has been stuck on "compiling less to css" for a long time now...this problem is new.

Are you using admin tools pro or any other security extension?

I'm assuming you can't save any change to the template?

right, sometimes it will save, but it never allows me to create a "new/duplicate" template. I am using Akeeba Admin Tools Core, and Akeeba Backup Pro. Here is a list of the extensions installed:

Hi there,
Thanks for the ticket access.

There are two issues:

1. The background image select box is blank but it needs an image assigned or it needs to be set to inherit.

2. The theme wont compile properly though because I get an error that there are too many redirects. i get this error on the front end. So sounds like an htaccess or sef issue perhaps?
Thanks

Thanks...not sure what is going on. I haven't changed and SEF settings and haven't touched the htaccess file.

Now the home page will not load. I am at a loss. Any suggestions?

Hi

Some of those extensions I'm not familiar with - I'd take a backup of the site

What does easy frontend seo do? - I'd check to see if disabling the components improved the situation

Are you able to download the backup and test locally?

Hi,

It looks like the item that your homepage links to 'TEST' has been deleted so your default menu item is linking to a page that doesn't exist.

You need to change the home/default item to link to some content.

Mahalo! I uninstalled the FrontendSEO extension and now everything is working as it should!

Again, thanks for the help, and pointing me in the right direction with the missing page.

Aloha
