Site Offline page Corporation

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

Hi Paul
I'm trying to get the site up and need to work with it offline to check it out but the offline page seems to have no styling at all. It looks as though there should be an offline css it should be picking up from the theme. Any ideas what's wrong or do I have to start from scratch with this? Site is at:
www.lancashireheelers.org

Thanks
Jan

There is a 404 for the offline style file I will need to check with the developers on Monday with this

Any further info on this Paul? The 404 isn't working either. If it's something in my settings I'd like to fix it and build something in-keeping.
Thanks

Sorry you're not feeling so great Paul.I'm still getting a generic offline page for 404 , which I wasn't with my previous template. Is there a setting somewhere I've missed?

It picks up the file yes so it looks more professional. It doesn't seem to be part of the same theme but I can change that and customise it with an override. Is there one for the 404 you mentioned above? Can you possibly let me have the paths for the files to make the template overrides?
Guess I should have done this on day 1 really - out of practice!
Thanks Paul

Hi Jan,

The 404 page is also the generic framework page.
So you would need to look at error.php to customise or modify that.

Thanks

Ok - it's missing from the template - I copied one from another template which gives me a start and can go from there.
Thanks

No problem - I've copied over the css file from gazetta also, not a big issue. It's a great start actually and even pulls my search box in! Only problem I have is that it gives the code for the search icon on the button instead of rendering the icon so I'm guessing it's not loading the font awesome css? Search functionality is working etc. Any ideas?
....and you should be asleep!! :)

Hi Jan,

Could you attach a screenshot of the source code view

It picks it up from the module which renders it fine of course. I just need to override the button text. Cool that it renders the search module on the error page - that's not something mere mortals can do on error pages but now it's there of course I'd like to leave it there - great feature!
