K2 and Corporation Template

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

Each Zentools instance is created by adding a new module - unless of course the quickstart was used

Looking at the code there is a conflict with some css styling between zentools v1 and zentools v2

Can you try disabling Zentools v1

How do you find there is a conflict? Interesting?

A few of the templates I use within the same site use quite a few Zentools modules - will disable them all to see if it makes a difference.

If it does, hopefully I can recreate the Zentools modules with Zentools 2.

Hi

We'd not seen this before

.zentools :before line 248

It contains an opacity value and a width value which are causing the two problems of transparency and added space

opacity: 0.8; for the transparency
width: 1em; for the extra space

The front page looks better now - I'm assuming you have disabled zentools v1 ?

Turned off all Zentools 1 and your right - it has made a difference - template looks fine.

I then went through each zentools 1 module and switched them back on, refreshed the home page, and all appear to work fine, except for one zentools 1 module which I have turned off.

Not sure if you can check if there is still a conflict?

Opened up the module to have a look - can't find any settings in Zentools 1 for opacity and width - will need to check custom css to see if I have it in there.

Can't find it in my custom css. The funny thing is I have another zentools 1 module which was disabled but same name - but when turned on doesn't affect the website - I'll check the differences to see if that comes up with anything.

The line isn't on the custom.css file it's in this file and it's not an option to change

With the zentools module conflict it won't affect all module types

As the filter uses the .zentools :before and zentools v1 has a style for this it changes how the triangles are displayed and how zentools li are positioned

Are you able to move your latest question to a new thread?
