Hello together,

so far i’m working on the Ascend2 Template and it’s getting better and better. With the Documentation it’s also good to setup the site. But now i have some problems where i didn’t found a solution till now. I marked it on the attached screenshot with arrows in different colors:

Blue Arrow: How can I setup the Navigation like in the original Demo site. It looks different how i did it with the documentation. ???

Green Arrow: Where can i change the color for that area ?

Red Arrow: How can i setup the newsticker, that it looks like in the original Demo site ? In my site it looks like that…

Yellow Arrow: In the original Demo site there is a space on the top of this area. And on the right side there are some navigation elements… how can i do that ?


Ok, please don’t say, „use the documentation“ i’ve tried it with the documentation. Maybe i’m too stupid to do it right, maybe i need some additional help… i don’t know…

With the menu does it have nav-pills in the menu module settings?

if you remove that it should remove the margin

If you want to keep nav-pills this add

.nav-pills li a {margin-bottom:0;}

to the custom.css file

With the pattern

Do you have the patten class in the class section of the ticker modules advanced tab?

With the yellow arrow if you add a module to one of the top positions does this work better for you?

hi paul,

1. the newsticker thing is working now. the "nav-pills" was not there.
2. The other problems are still there. i tried to do a module to the "top1" and also "top2" position, but it doesn't work to show it there...
3. the menu is also with the „custom.css“ the same than before. There are the box around the words and the red color….
4. If you want, you can have a look inside, i did a user named „paul“ in the administrator section… the password is „bamboo“
