Focus on specific category in filter layout

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

With the 'we make stuff' module, I'd like to remove 'Show all' and just focus on items from one of the tabbed menus e.g. show only items from 'Services', but have the other menu items there to click on to show their articles.
This was an option (from memory) in other templates. Is this still possible?
Let me know when you can.
Thanks, Nick

I think what I am looking for is 'Active category' - does it exist in this template?

Hi Nick

You can turn off showall via the module settings via the

"Module layout and settings" panel found in the options tab

Regarding the active item

If you type the name of the category in the input labelled

Active item on load

This is below the checkbox labelled

Display show all button

Cheers

Thanks Paul,
Unfortunately typing in a category name in the 'Active item' breaks the presentation on the Home page - it's blank. No articles show; just the tabs. The tabs work - click on one and you get the articles.

All OK now. Realised that the category 'name', and category 'alias' were different. Changed it so they matched and voila.
Thanks.
