I have a site that has the "old" Ascent template running with ZenBridge in Joomla 3. I obviously want to upgrade it to the new Ascent 2. Are there any instructions for doing this please?

Hi Malcom,

We don't have specific instructions I'm afraid - it will involve changing position names and taking advantage of the improvements offered in the new framework version

Are you going from J2.5?

No, the site is on Joomla 3.45 using the zenbridge version.

I should point out the docs aren't released so it may be worth waiting till next week

Alternatively

It would be a case of creating a backing up the site and then using that to create a dev site

Once moved you would need to un-install the framework and plugin.

Then install the new template (plugin not required), shortcodes, zentools2, zenmenu and JBMaps2 extensions

Then move the old template positions to the new

Without instructions I'd use a quickstart version as a guide
