Trying to update 3.4.8 to 3.6.4 and getting the dreaded

right so I think this might get painful

Do you have many extensions/plugins on the site?

Are they all up to date?

Not many plugins - but wait, i think contact enhanced had a problem at 3.6.3. i'll get back to you.

that was it. (pretty much the only component on the site other than some nonumber stuff.)
