FB Social icon reloading home page, not going to FB

On a live site, the facebook icon is not sending the visitor out to facebook but is instead loading index.php. I've attached my settings for that page.

If you mouse over the icon does it show as #

I just opened a ticket. This is a live site and client is concerned. I think the page behavior on iphone6 is the biggest issue. (My Androids are all behaving themselves.)
