Zen tools won't appear in Loadposition

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

Hi

I'm trying to get a zentools module to appear within an article here: www.churchesaliveonline.com/news-tips/10-tips-for-your-new-website

The module appears fine in the 'above' position. Whenever I change it to the custom 'tips' position it won't appear (within the article.) I have read a few tutorials about this online and I can't see what I've done wrong - I've repeated it on other sites and it works fine. Is this something to do with the template? Please note the Zentools module on that page is currently in the 'above' position.

Does the loadposition work if you try a different position?

We do use loadposition in all template demo builds

Hi

The reason you can see the module on that page now is because it's in the 'above' position. If I try load position it disappears.

I have tried copying the module and then placing the copy in the load position. In this case both instances disappear.

I have tried using different module position names for my custom module position.

eg:

{load position tips}
{loads position newwebsitetips}

In each case, I changed the module position to the custom one referred to in the load position code. Each time, nothing showed at all.

If you add the loadposition syntax to the article itself does it load?

Are you enabling the jquery option in the module settings?

This needs to be loaded when using jquery

The jquery setting is in the zentools2 settings tab

if you use loadposition then the module will require jquery being loaded by the module in most cases

I've a similar issue with zentools via load position not appearing in an easyblog blog post here: www.churchesaliveonline.com/blog/6-essentials-for-your-church-website

I asked the guys at easyblog and they say this " I can actually see the module being rendered on the page but Zentools isn't kicking in to activate it. Take a look at my screen shot here: screencast.com/t/c1JGobd42J"

Any ideas why the same module will show in an article ( www.churchesaliveonline.com/news-tips/6-essentials ) on that site, but not in an easyblog post?

What zentools2 version are you using?

I just upgraded it and it fixed the problem. However it created a new one. The text part of the slideshow has gone in all instances of the module - no module settings were changed. I have another thread on this error so I'll mention it there.
