special characters and unicode/utf-8

I had a problem with specal characters in file and folder names.

SUPPORT-BW3Q37V76D

Now i try to use imagenames with special characters in zentools 2. Is there a a way to display unicode or embed utf-8 for zentools?

Hi Marc,

It's not something the module supports as far as I'm aware

What characters are you trying to add?

some german special characters:
U+00E4 ä
U+00F6 ö
U+00FC ü

and some chars to format titles:
U+007C |

What happens when these characters are in the image files or are they in the folders?

we have found the problem. The hosting doesn't support utf-8 with normal ftp. Now it works perfekt with sftp.

I didn't know this myself
