How to upgrade Zentools2

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

I'm trying to upgrade from 1.0.4 to 1.1.5 but I'm having a bit of trouble figuring out the process. I've installed the upgrade, cleared the cache but when I open up a module, it still shows as 1.0.4 and tells me there's an upgrade available. Do I need to remove Zentools 2 and replace it again?

Hi

You update by installing the latest version over the top of the previous version

You will need also to save/compile in the module settings

Does the module display correctly on the front end?

Cheers

Not sure where you viewing the module version but if you check via this tutorial

is it still listing the previous version number?

Cheers

Hi Paul, yeah, despite numerous installs I'm still getting the old version number:

I'm not 100% certain what you mean by install over the old version but I'm assuming I simply upload the package file, install it, and the rest should take care of itself?

Okay, it seems to have worked on this attempt. I was obviously doing something daft somewhere. Thanks, Paul.

No worries

sounds like a possible server glitch
