I am working on a project that really NEEDS Zentools2 v2.0 so that I can use EasyBlog content as well as K2 content on the same page. Anyhow, I do come here often hoping for some exciting news. Don't rush it but...

Thanks Paul for the Extra Fields link. I actually set up a test using the extra fields yesterday and am happy with it. I can't use it for variables like color but for this project I will use it for Authors, Credits, URLS, and additional resources:

Here is a test item with it working:

I ended up installing Additional Categories for K2 and it is working well. If you want to get accurate display counts of the number of items you have to hack the K2 core but I think I will be able to do without that as I generally am not a fan of those counts.
