Hi,
I'm using latest zentools2 version (1.1.4) and I have problems to display articles filtered by tags.

I've created a new zentools2 module and set:
Layout: list
Content source: Joomla tags
Item layout: title + introtext
Module layout and settings: "none" as theme

In content tab I choosed:
Count: 5
Order: alphabetical
Display child tags: No
Select tags: I've choosed 1 tag

All other settings are defaults.

In the module output I would expect to have 5 articles with assigned the tag I choosed, but the only thing I get is the tag name with a link to the tag page.

What am I doing wrong?

I've just set this up myself locally and instead gone

"Select a layout" - filter
"Select a content source" as Joomla
"In Module layout and settings" chosen tag

I can go into more detail if you need more information

Thanks, I see what's your point. This is the same thing that was available on the old Zentools, but it's not what I require.

I don't want to show the user a list of tabs where to filter articles based on tags.
I want to show an accordion or list module with joomla articles filtered by tags & categories (choosen in backend by me), instead to filter them only by categories.

Apart from that, if in "Module layout and settings" I choose
"Filter type: Tags"
I get all untagged articles displayed without any filter bar, while if I add in "Active item on load" one of my tags, nothing is displayed.

Hi there,

We have the option to sort items based on their tag in the admin scheduled for a future release. I can't give you a timeframe on when that will happen but it's certainly in our list of todos.

For your other issue:
The filter type: tags doesn't refer to the content that gets referenced it refers to how the content (set in the content tab) is displayed.
